Custom Colouring Images

Following the success of my colouring book of Glasgow gig venues I was commissioned by a client to create custom colouring pages to be included in a notebook they were producing as a promotional marketing tool for their business.

The book was to be included in an awards ‘goodie bag’ of an awards ceremony they were sponsoring. The client wanted the images to be a combination of architectural pieces from their buildings and the surrounding area, as well as more ‘fun’ images.

I decided an interesting route would be to take various architectural elements from both the building itself and the surrounding Clyde waterfront and use these to create patterns and simple images.

The creation of these images was also the inspiration for my business logo . Taking the striking form of the iconic Tradeston Bridge, I took the outline of the on-bridge arches and used it to create a bold geometric shape. Other images used the unusual lampposts and atrium shapes from the area.

There was also the inclusion of images of the exterior and interior of the clients buildings portfolio.
